The Parish of Falcarragh, under the patronage of Naomh Fionán, is costal parish located on the north west of Co. Donegal. The parish was originally a curacy and part of the Parish of Cloughaneely, however it was established as a separate parish in March 1983 following the construction of the new Naomh Fionán’s Church, which replaced an older Church built in 1882. Fr. Patrick McShane, the curate of the Parish in 1983, became its first Parish Priest.
